JGP concludes the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for duplication of 847 km of the BR-163 Highway in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (September 2014)

JGP has submitted to Brazil´s Federal Environmental Agency (IBAMA) the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for duplication of 847 km of the BR-163 Highway in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Under a contract with Brazil´s Federal Agency for Transportation Planning (Empresa de Planejamento Logístico - EPL), JGP will also be responsible for detailing Environmental and Social Management Plans, for conducting archaeological surveys and for preparation of ethno-ecologic studies of 10 Indigenous Groups within the project´s area of influence.
