JGP concludes the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Dande Port and Oil and Gas Complex in Angola (February 2012)

Dande will be the largest port in Angola. It will serve primarily the country’s oil and gas industry, but will be able to handle general cargo as well. A large industrial district will be linked to the port as well as a new town initially planned for a design population of 350.000. The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) was commissioned in order to identify key environmental and social issues at an early stage of the project planning cycle and to establish guidelines to be adopted during the impact assessment and environmental permitting process.
