Environmental Impact Assessment of the Juina – Brasnorte 230 kV Transmission Line is submitted to the Environmental Agency of the State of Mato Grosso (May 2009)

JGP has concluded the Environmental Impact Assessment of the 230 kV transmission line between Juina and Branorte in the northern region of the State of Mato Grosso. This 215 km project will connect the Dardanellos hydroelectric project to Brazil’s Interconnected Energy Grid. Four Public Hearings were held during April and May at the request of the State’s Environmental Agency (SEMA-MT).
