JGP has completed the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of the Cachoeirão Hydropower Project (May 2014)

The Cachoeirão Hydropower Plant will have installed capacity of 50 MW and will be located in the Juruena River, in the northern region of the state of Mato Grosso, in an area that already has nine hydroelectric plants, whose licensing and environmental and social management has been under JGP’s responsibility since 2005.
