JGP to conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessments of 16 federal road projects | May 2022

Work on a major contract with Brazil´s Federal Transportation Infrastructure Agency (DNIT) will begin in June. A total of 16 different capacity enhancement projects, including mainly duplication of existing highways, will be assessed through ESIAs or simplified impact assessments. Total length nears 3,000 km. Additionally, a 205 km greenfield rail project in the state of Ceará is also in the contract.
