JGP´s ESIA for the expansion works of the Manzanillo port in the northern coast of the Dominican Repiblic has been approved by IDB that will finance the project. This will enable the country to increase its exports mainly of agricultural products and minerals. The port is located in an environmentally sensitive bay and detailed seabed surveys were required.
