JGP finalizes Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of a group of transmission lines totaling over 830 Km in the State of Minas Gerais (May 2017)

The ESIA of the Mantiqueira Transmission System includes 517 Km of 500 kV lines, 299 Km of 345 kV lines and 19 Km of 230 kV. Due to size of the project, permitting will be an IBAMA (Federal Environmental Agency) responsibility. JGP´s scope of work also includes archaeological surveys and complementary studies required by the Federal Cultural Protection Agency (IPHAN).
