André Maggi Group obtains ISO 14001 certification for facilities where the Environmental Management System developed by JGP was implemented (November 2007)

All facilities in Grupo André Maggi’s northern export corridor that uses de Madeira river waterway have obtained ISO 14001 certification upon successful implementation of the Integrated Environmental, Social and Health and Safety Management System developed by JGP. This includes the Tucunaré farm with over 45,000 hectares, seven soy warehouses in the northern region of the state of Mato Grosso, a vegetable oil plant at Itacoatiara (state of Amazonas) and the port facilities of the group’s navigation company (Hermasa) located at Itacoatiara and Porto Velho (Rondonia). The Tucunaré farm is the first soybean plantation to receive ISO 14001 certification in Brazil.
