JGP participates in the development of the Environmental Management Plans of the Santo Antonio Hydroelectric Power Plant on Madeira River (October 2008)

After approving the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans (PBA), the Brazilian Environmental Agency (IBAMA) has issued the Installation License allowing for construction of the Santo Antonio hydroelectric power plant on the Madeira River, (3.150 MW capacity).

JGP was responsible for development of most of the programs included in the PBA, including those relative to the physical and biological environment, as well as key socioeconomic programs (Involuntary Resettlement and Reorganization of Productive Activities). In all, JGP participated in 32 of the 39 programs included in the PBA.
