JGP currently Implementing Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Programs Required by the Federal Environmental Agency (IBAMA) during Construction of the Xingu/Estreito 800 kV Continuous Current Transmission Line (September 2016)

IBAMA (Brazil's Federal Environmental Agency) included in the environmental permit for the Xingu/Estreito 800 kV Continuous Current Transmission Line requirements for implementation of 18 environmental and social management and/or monitoring programs. The construction process is being fast-tracked and five construction firms have been retained for different reaches of the 2,100 km alignment. JGP’s team on the project includes a multidisciplinary team of over 60 professionals.
