JGP concludes EIA of the DART Project (Bus Rapid Transit corridor) in Tanzania’s capital (February 2007)

JGP submitted the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) of Phase I of the DART BRT corridor in Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) in February. This 20.85 Km. corridor will be financed by the World Bank and will require a total investment of US$ 108 million. Further to the EIA, JGP was responsible for preparation of the Resettlement Policy Framework (already approved by the World Bank), and of individual Resettlement Action Plans for each segment.
